Review: Guilty pleasures are things you hate to love. For me there are
few pleasures guiltier than softcore porn movies. Siren's Kiss (a.k.a.
Body Strokes) is about a male artist that has lost
inspiration and whose marriage is faltering. He places an ad for
nude models that elicits interest from two young women. The women
become his muses and his ability to paint and to love is
resurrected.
The real attraction, of course, are the women in the feature
roles. One actress in particular is absolutely gorgeous and makes
the film. She isn't a great actress, but her face, hair, lips, body,
and voice are unbelievable. In fact, I consider her to be my model
of female perfection. I dare not mention her by name; it's too
special to mention in a silly little blog. I will say this is one of
the few films she has appeared in and it is definitely worth the
effort to find.
Other notables include pornstar, Kelly Jaye (credited as Kelly
Cook), and softcore veteran, Teresa Langley, who looks gaunt but
beautiful.
I first saw Siren's Kiss years ago on Skinemax and was
immediately captivated. When DVDs hit it big, I found the Unrated
DVD (there's also an R-rated version) at Best Buy for cheap and
snagged it, but I haven't seen it in a retail store in a long time.
