Woohoo! Land of the Dead came out today. I also finally
picked up Shaun of the Dead. Best Buy had a 3 DVDs for $20
sale and I mistakenly bought Last of the Mohicans again. For
some reason, I thought I had a different DVD release. Oh well, guess
my brother will be getting a nice surprise. Except for the first
four DVDs listed below, all were under $8 and some under $7. Also,
picked up Ms. McLachlan's latest remix album, Bloom.

I dropped by Circuit City to pick up High Tension and a
few discs on sale for $10. I arrived a little too late in the week
as Passion of the Christ and American Psycho were
already sold out, but I did find Closer and The Aviator.
I also picked up several low budget zombie flicks. I know House
of the Dead has received horrible reviews, but I have to see it
for myself. Here's today's haul:

ART MAGIC INC.COM credit card fraud

While paying off my VISA credit card today, I checked the
transactions since the last statement and found a $9.95 charge from ART
MAGIC INC.COM. I Googled it and found, Joe's
Journal blog, where dozens of people report to also have been
victims of the same fraudulent charge.
I called up Chase to dispute the charge and the rep immediately
credited my account. I also told the rep about the blog site, but
she didn't seem too interested in starting a fraud investigation. Oh
well. I filed
a complaint with the FTC. Hopefully, someday there'll be enough
info to catch these assholes.
